WebChain ETK is a blockchain network identified by chain ID 1000001, utilizing ETK as its native token with 18 decimal places. It employs a unique Proof-of-Concept+ (PoC+) consensus mechanism, combining Proof-of-Stake and Proof-of-Concept to achieve high transaction throughput and instant confirmations. ETK is produced through validator mining, with hourly block rewards automatically deposited to off-chain wallets and bridgeable to on-chain wallets like MetaMask.
The network supports cross-chain interoperability with Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon, enabling seamless asset transfers across these platforms. WebChain's Validator Layer, known as the WVM-20 standard, allows validators to create and manage tokens directly at the protocol layer without deploying smart contracts, facilitating gasless token creation and transfer.
