WorldLand Mainnet is a public Layer 1 blockchain network identified by Chain ID 103, featuring the native currency Worldland (WLC) with 18 decimal places. Launched in August 2023, it was developed through a collaboration between the GIST Blockchain Intelligence Convergence Center and the startup LiberVance.
The network employs the ECCVCC consensus mechanism, a proof-of-work algorithm designed for the GPU era, integrating computation directly into network security. This approach is ASIC-resistant and aims to provide efficient verification.
WorldLand focuses on creating a decentralized compute marketplace by combining blockchain technology with AI-native distributed GPU infrastructure. This setup enables the provision of on-demand GPU containers with full SSH root access, facilitating rapid deployment of AI workloads.
The network is accessible via RPC endpoints, and its blockchain data can be explored through the WorldLand Explorer.
