re.al is a Layer 2 blockchain network identified by chain ID 111188, utilizing re.al Ether (reETH) as its native token with 18 decimal places. Launched in March 2024, re.al is designed to tokenize real-world assets (RWAs), enabling their integration into decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. The network leverages Arbitrum Orbit technology to provide scalable and efficient transaction processing while maintaining the security of the Ethereum mainnet.
The re.al ecosystem includes various protocols such as Tangible, which focuses on tokenizing real estate properties; Pearl, a concentrated liquidity exchange optimized for RWAs; Stack, a borrowing and leverage protocol for RWAs; and Arcana, a protocol offering yield from tokenized, delta-neutral trade strategies. These protocols aim to enhance liquidity, interoperability, and composability of traditional assets on-chain.
Developers can interact with the re.al network through several RPC endpoints. The network's block explorer provides transparency and real-time data for users and developers.
