About Ronin
Ronin is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible blockchain developed by Sky Mavis, the creators of Axie Infinity, and launched in February 2021. Designed specifically for gaming applications, Ronin operates as a Layer 1 sidechain to Ethereum, providing a scalable and efficient platform for Web3 games.
