About Fantom Opera
Fantom Opera is a Layer 1 blockchain network developed by the Fantom Foundation and launched in December 2019. It utilizes the Lachesis consensus mechanism, combining Proof-of-Stake with Asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerance to achieve high throughput and low latency. This design enables the network to process transactions rapidly, with an average finality time of approximately one second.
