Plasma Testnet is a public test network for the Plasma blockchain, identified by Chain ID 9746. It utilizes XPL as its native token, with 18 decimal places. The testnet is designed to facilitate the development and testing of decentralized applications and network integrations.
The network employs PlasmaBFT, a variant of the Fast HotStuff consensus mechanism, to achieve high throughput and low latency.
