Plans define how you price your routes on RouteMesh. In the provider portal, Plans (under Management) let you create and manage plans that apply to specific chains, methods, and regions.

What is a plan?

A plan ties together:
  • Pricing — e.g. cost per million requests (or similar unit)
  • Scope — Which chains, methods, and regions the plan applies to
  • Strategy — Whether the plan is for economy or performance routing (where applicable)
Consumers’ traffic is routed based on their strategy and your (and others’) plan pricing and availability.

Managing plans in the portal

  1. Go to Provider portal → Plans.
  2. Create a new plan or edit an existing one.
  3. Set the rate (e.g. per million requests), chain(s), method(s), and region as needed.
  4. Save; your routes will update and become eligible for routing according to the router’s logic.

Tips

  • Competitive pricing and broad coverage (chains/methods) tend to increase market share.
  • Use Market share and Inspect to see how plan changes affect traffic and latency.
