RouteMesh’s routing is dependent on the key type our customers select. Peformance optimizes around latency. Economy optimizes around price.
Setting Prices
When thinking through how to set pricing for RouteMesh we encourage you to think where your specialty lies and setting parameters accordingly.
For performance keys, once a node is less than 50ms in latency then they are directly selected against each other based on price.
Quality
It is important that you don’t undercut prices to a point where you’re not sustainable. Degradation in performance can be detected by our systems and penalties are enforced algorithmically. This means traffic is taken away from you and your node will have to re-qualify over time to be re-eligible for routing.
