About TAC Mainnet
TAC Mainnet is a Layer 1 blockchain network identified by chain ID 239, utilizing TAC as its native currency with 18 decimal places. Launched in July 2025, TAC is designed to bridge Ethereum-based decentralized applications (dApps) with Telegram's extensive user base, enabling seamless integration of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols directly within the Telegram messaging platform.
The network employs a CosmosEVM architecture, ensuring compatibility with Ethereum's Cancun hard fork. It operates on a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism, secured by the native TAC token, which also facilitates gas fees, staking, and governance within the ecosystem.
TAC Mainnet has integrated several leading DeFi protocols, including Morpho, Curve, Bancor, Euler, ZeroLend, IPOR Fusion, and Market.win, providing users with direct access to these applications through Telegram.
Developers can deploy Ethereum-compatible dApps on TAC without rewriting code, leveraging Telegram's vast user base to enhance accessibility and adoption.
