Arc Testnet is a public testnet for Arc, an open Layer-1 blockchain developed by Circle and launched on October 28, 2025. Arc is designed to integrate programmable money with real-world economic activities, supporting applications such as on-chain lending, capital markets, foreign exchange, and global payments.
The testnet utilizes USDC as its native gas token, providing low, predictable, and fiat-based transaction fees. It offers deterministic sub-second finality through the Malachite BFT consensus engine, ensuring rapid transaction confirmations.
