Jovay Mainnet is a Layer 2 blockchain network developed by Ant Digital Technologies, launched in the fourth quarter of 2025. It is designed to address performance, security, compliance, and scalability challenges in traditional Layer 2 solutions. Jovay employs a three-tier pipeline parallel architecture—transaction-level, block-level, and batch-level—to significantly enhance throughput and reduce user response times to sub-second levels. This architecture ensures real-time performance for scenarios such as transfers and real-world asset contract invocations.
The network utilizes a dual-proof system combining Trusted Execution Environments and Zero-Knowledge Proofs to balance performance with reduced reliance on centralized hardware trust. Additionally, Jovay adopts a modular architecture, allowing independent upgrades of each core module based on technological advancements.
