About Viction
Viction is a Layer-1 blockchain network identified by chain ID 88, utilizing the native currency Viction (VIC) with 18 decimal places. It operates on a Proof-of-Stake Voting (PoSV) consensus mechanism, supported by a network of 150 masternodes. This structure enables high scalability, achieving transaction speeds of at least 2,000 transactions per second, with block times of 2 seconds and transaction confirmations within 4 seconds.
Viction's PoSV consensus involves token holders depositing 50,000 VIC to become masternode candidates, who are then elected through community voting. The selected masternodes generate blocks in a round-robin fashion and employ double validation to enhance security and prevent collusion. This approach ensures a decentralized and efficient validation process.
The network supports all EVM-compatible smart contracts, protocols, and atomic cross-chain token transfers, facilitating the development of decentralized applications (dApps) across various sectors. Viction also introduces the Viction World Wide Chain, a framework that enables a network of app chains to operate concurrently, anchored by a common settlement on Viction. This design enhances scalability and supports a wide range of decentralized applications.
Additionally, Viction offers zero-gas transactions, removing cost barriers for users and enabling frequent and effortless in-chain interactions. This feature is particularly beneficial for consumer-facing applications, making Web3 more accessible and user-friendly.
